"WITH ONE PERCENT VISION, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE"

Bertyák Bence vagyok, születésem óta látássérült - az orvosok szerint vak -, 5 éve fotós. Első olvasatra érdekes kombinációnak tűnhet, de nem lehetetlen. Hogyan kezdődött a fotózás iránti „szerelem” és elhivatottság? Talán a legtöbbünkre igaz – akik fotósok vagy azok lesznek -, hogy a családban épp akadt egy fényképezőgép, amit vagy használt valaki vagy nem. Az én esetemben sem volt másképp. Édesapám régi fényképezőgépe mindig is vonzott, és érdekesnek tartottam, hogy megörökíthető egy-egy jó pillanat, egy emlék.
Úgy gondolom, én lehetek az első olyan személy, aki látássérültként hivatásos fotós Magyarországon. Mielőtt bárki azt hinné, hogy ezzel a problémával nem lehetséges a fotózás, kérem, nézze meg az általam készített képeket, referenciákat és az alapján hozza meg döntését.

Az általam legkedvesebb téma – talán azért, mert én magam is jól kijövök másokkal – az emberek fotózása. Legyen szó modellek fotózásáról vagy akár egy nagyszerű pár esküvőjének megörökítéséről, számomra az a legfontosabb, hogy a legszebb és legjobb pillanatokat - és egy kicsivel többet is - visszatudjak adni azok számára, akik átélték azokat.

The pictures of a really good photographer are the best reference for his work, but perhaps it is not the last consideration if Pál Nánási, who is highly recognized in Hungarian and international photography circles, also considers the particular photographer talented. Two years ago, I was among the 100 most talented photographers in Hungary in the BigShot photography talent search. This is where we met Pál, who noticed me as one of Hungary's most unique photographers.

Bence Bertyák was born with 99 percent vision loss, on paper he is almost completely blind, but he does not know the impossible. In elementary school, he played handball, then archery, and later fell in love with driving. Although he can't have a driver's license, he regularly makes laps on go-kart tracks, and once they even arranged for him to drive a truck at the airport. Even the doctors don't understand how he can do so much. Bence's passion is photography, he sets all values manually, and in addition to portrait photography, he also undertakes wedding photography as a team.
